This is a collection of my work done over the past 20 years. I have travelled to Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana,Namibia and Mozambique and have attended many photographic workshops in these countries. My favourite subjects to photograph are the birds. My mentors for bird photography are Albert Froneman and Chris van Rooyen. They have always been ready to share any information be it camera or computer!
My highlight moment in photography was when we were staying at & Beyond Klein’s Camp in the Serengeti, Tanzania, and we came across 6 young male lions all lined up in a neat row on a rivers edge. I knew right then I had the opportunity to get my “once in a lifetime” shot and I got to work. I had recently got the Nikon D4 and had the 500mm lens on. The other camera body, the D3s had the 200-400mm lens. It was truly a highlight moment! They stayed in a row for about 6 minutes!
